Forward Recruitment Services (FRS) is a staffing solutions company that operates on a simple principle of seeking and matching highly skilled individuals to your company’s specific employment needs. Our mission is to successfully build, promote and provide a diverse career placement company that delivers outstanding services.

FRS aims to provide top-notch staffing solutions to clients and contractors of all sizes. While based in Halifax and serving mainly the Maritime Provinces of Canada with a long term goal of establishing offices in different Maritime locations, FRS aims to also cater for the skills and labour demand in western Canada, linking Maritimers with employers out west. FRS also strives to ensure that candidates experience the best services and achieve the ultimate satisfaction geared towards their career goals.

FRS is structured like other temporary and permanent placement agencies. The company focuses on various sectors from specialized professionals to clerical and light industrial workers. However, FRS sets itself apart by making a major focus on seeking out candidates from the growing highly skilled yet under-employed immigrant labour force to link them with many potential employers. The company recognizes the great struggle that many newcomers to Canada face in obtaining employment despite their commonly strong academic and work experience from their original countries. FRS recognizes the shortcomings of most players in the business on this front and is looking to establish its own niche.

FRS works with immigrant related organizations such as ISIS formally MISA to identify potential candidates from immigrant population and provide a bridge for these individuals to connect with employers.

FRS provides temporary and permanent placement services for a wide range of jobs including:
